Certified appraisal reports

A precise, reliable, and recognized valuation of your collection.

Do you need to know the exact real value of your collection? A certified fair market value appraisal report is a recognized professional assessment that provides better protection in various life situations.

For an insurer, notary, accountant, or heir, a list of bottles is not enough: you need a reliable, credible, signed, dated, and methodical document, bottle by bottle.

When a certified report is required

Claim or insurance coverage

To insure your collection at its true value, or to support a claim following breakage, theft, flooding, or a cellar failure.

Fair and equitable distribution of goods

During a separation or the administration of an estate, a credible, neutral, and documented report prevents disagreements and facilitates the work of the professionals involved.

Estate planning

To include your collection in your balance sheet, prepare a donation or transfer, or simply track the evolution of an appreciating asset.

Sale of a complete collection

The report serves as the basis for the sales proposal and provides you with an independent point of reference before negotiating.

What the report contains

Complete inventory

The complete inventory of appraised bottles, including vintage, format, and descriptive information.

Market value

The market value of each bottle and the total value of the collection as of the report date.

Methodology

The methodology and sources used, drawn from our database of over one million references.

Certification

The signature of a recognized Alfred expert and the certification date.
